Collection for Association for Retarded Citizens of PA (ARC)
Saturday/Sunday, May 4-5/2003, The Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus participated in the Measure-Up Campaign. This campaign benefits Pennsylvanians with mental retardation, and over the past 25 years, the Knights have raised over $4 million dollars. These funds are typically raised by requesting donations from shoppers at local area shopping centers.
2003 was our first year of participation and we collected funds that ranked our Council 6th in the state on a per capita basis and 1st in Chester County.
Labor Day Mass
Monday, September 2, the Knights assisted as crossing guards for the outdoor Labor Day mass.
Harvest Social
Served as bartenders at St. Elizabeth’s Harvest Social in October, 2002
Christmas Party
December 15, We celebrated the Christmas holiday with a festive party.
Christmas Vigil Mass
December 24th, members of the Knights of Columbus assisted in setup and take down of luminaries for the Christmas Eve Vigil Mass.
2003 KofC Basketball Free Throw Championships

Congratulations to all!
The winners participated in the District 17 competition against winners from other councils. The competition was held Feb 22, 2003 at St Maximillian Kolbe School. St Elizabeth Council had one District winner, Tori Viscuso in the 12 year old girl group. Congratulations to Tori. Chris Cordivari, 11 year old boys group, lost in a triple overtime shootout.
Immaculata University Art Show
The council assisted with the dismantling of the Immaculata College Art Show.
St. Patrick’s Day
St. Elizabeth and St Joseph’s councils gathered to celebrate the holiday.
Communion Breakfast
St. Elizabeth council held their first Communion Breakfast on April 27, 2003. The Knights honored Ray Williams as Knight of the Year. They also honored the Forlano family as Family of the Year.
The Knights council would also like to congratulate Father Phil Forlano on his Ordination on May 17, 2003.
